Planned Differences between Elite and Select
We are proud to announce the first public beta version of RPM Elite 5.0 beta. Download it now.
Currently differences include:
- Access 10 devices during trial with 99 after activation
- Configurable number of print tasks to increase speed
Here are the features planned for RPM Elite that are not currently available in RPM Select 5.0:
- Watermarks for text printing, PDF, PCL, and HTML
- Configure RPM from a web browser interface
- Conditionally run actions or transforms based on data and user supplied criteria
- Enhanced PDF features such as password protection. Get your requests in now.
- Priorities for a device, queue, user, etc.
- Accounting, including the ability to restrict printing based on rules
- PJL output — may be implemented as additional raw action options
- Folder watcher
- Optional feature: FTP client and/or server
- Optional feature: Jetdirect protocol support
Note that these are proposed differences and are subject to change prior to the initial RPM Elite 5.0 release.
