FAQ: Error: Unable to print binary file

Problem: Error: "Unable to print binary file; check data options or change queue type."

Answer: RPM Remote Print Manager® will pass a binary file to the printer; however, the incoming data must be in a format the printer can understand or it will print garbage or not print anything at all.

If you wish to print a binary file, you must use a raw type queue. To do this, choose the second queue type "Pass data directly to the printer (raw)" in the Edit Queues dialog. If you still do not get the desired output, you should configure the sending side to convert or translate the data before sending.
