Multiple jobs arrive using Telnet printing

Problem:

I am using RPM to receive print jobs using the Telnet protocol. The problem is, when I send a job to RPM, it prints fine, then the job is resent over and over again from my sending side.

Answer:

Previous versions of RPM would close the the TCP/IP connection immediately. The sending side would then believe that the data was not received properly and, in some cases, resend the data. RPM is now handling this issue correctly, and the update is available on our download page.

This issue was fixed in version 4.0.0.12. If you are running this version or later, and still find a problem, please contact support.
