I can not get a column report to compress

Problem:

I can't get a 196 column report to compress.

Answer:

RPM Remote Print Manager® version 2.2 has two ways to set the horizontal size of the font: characters per inch and columns per line.
  1. From the Queues menu, choose Edit Queues. In the Select a Queue drop list, select the queue you want to edit.
  2. Verify you have "Print text, allows font select, page setup" selected.
  3. Click the Queue Setup button to display the Text Setup dialog.
  4. Select "Use characters per inch" and fill in the correct number of characters per inch in the chars/inch box. For information on how to determine the CPI, click here.

Note: We recommend you select a TrueType, monospaced font such as Courier New or Letter Gothic MT.
