Does RPM fill up the registry?

Question:

I recently received a message that my registry was full and I would need to increase the size to continue. I am running RPM version 2.2 in a Windows NT environment. After looking throughout the registry, I decided that RPM was filling up the "CurrentJobs" key and the "Jobs" key that is beneath a specific queue. Why does RPM fill up the registry?

Answer:

We are aware of an issue where RPM version 2.2 does not completely clean the registry. This is most common when running it in a Windows NT environment. In order to fix this issue, you must upgrade to the newest version of RPM Remote Print Manager. For Windows 2000/NT, the version is 4.0.0.6 and for Windows 9x it is 2.4.0.1.
