The username on the banner is SYSTEM

Problem:

Whenever I print to RPM Remote Print Manager™ for Windows NT, the Microsoft postscript separator page always prints the username as "SYSTEM". How can I make the proper username print out?

Answer:

In order for RPM to manage print job properties such as the username, the RPM service must have full control permissions (print and manage documents) to the printer. To determine which account the RPM service is running as, use the Services Control Panel utility. Once you determine which account RPM is running as, give this account full control permissions to the printer.

If the RPM service is running as the local SYSTEM account, you cannot give this account full control permissions to any shared printers. If this is the case, you must change the RPM service account. Detailed instructions for doing so can be found in our RPM installation Guide.
