FAQ: RPM Warning: Failed create empty document

Question: I am running RPM for Windows NT on a Windows 2000 operating environment. I receive the following error when opening the RPM user-interface: Failed to create empty document.

Answer: Our current versions of RPM, Elite and Select both run well under Windows 2000. Logging has been updated. If you receive this error under Windows NT, upgrade Internet Explorer to IE 5 SP2 or greater and your Windows NT service pack to SP5.
