Can ExcelliPrint convert SCS to PDF?

Q: Can ExcelliPrint® receive SCS spooled files and create PDF files from them?

A: Yes. On IBM i, PSF converts SCS spooled files to IPDS when they’re sent to an IPDS printer device whose PSF configuration has IPDSPASTHR(*YES), as in our IBM i setup. Put the SCS spooled file on the device’s output queue; ExcelliPrint receives it as IPDS and handles it like any other job.

So SCS reports can be saved, printed or emailed in any of ExcelliPrint’s formats: PDF (including PDF/A), TIFF, PostScript, PCL6, or through a printer’s own Windows driver.
