Brooks Internet Software, Inc. Awarded General Services Administration Schedule for Enhanced Government Service and Procurement
Idaho Falls, ID. - October 1, 2002 - After 20 months of paper work, resubmissions and approval procedures, Brooks Internet Software, Inc. (Brooks), developer of remote printing software, has been awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule. Federal Government agencies now have an additional resource to obtain Brooks' printing products and services.
The GSA schedule features a simplified, streamlined procurement process for government clients to obtain Brooks' products and services. The GSA schedule is a competitively awarded schedule contract with fixed product rates that is available to all federal government agencies. The GSA schedule ensures the agency receives the best product at the best available price direct from the manufacturer.
For six years, Brooks has been supporting government purchases with special rates, significantly lower than the commercial pricing. Brooks software has been purchased by federal agencies such as the Congressional Budget Office and USDA and state and local agencies. Even international government agencies such as the Chilean Naval Mission and Royal Canadian Mounted Police are currently using Brooks' software.
"Even though we have been providing a special service to government agencies around the world since we started business", said Dave Brooks, President of Brooks Internet Software, Inc., "the recognition and validation of our software and services by GSA is really about customer service. Now with the GSA Schedule we can fully service new and current federal agencies requiring our products by streamlining government procurement policies."
Interested agencies can contact Brooks directly and use Schedule number GS-35F-0760M to access products or services. Government clients can also use the GSA Advantage web site to obtain pricing and purchasing information.
