Unable to create printer, assign virtual port

I am attempting to create a windows printer and assign the virtual printer port that was created by Intelliscribe.  This is a Windows 10 machine and it immediately comes up with error "Unable to install printer" Double check the printer name and make sure that the printer is connected to the network.  Has anyone experienced this error?

I associate this message with users trying to use a v4 class driver with INTELLIscribe. Microsoft deliberately prevents third-party port monitors from working with v4 class drivers (or vice-versa). You would need to use Windows update to find an alternate compatible driver or check the printer manufacturer's website. Most class drivers contain the words "class driver" in the name like "HP LaserJet 2300L PS Class Driver". Other than that, I am not certain how to determine whether the driver you are trying to use is a v4 class driver.
