How to print to ExcelliPrint from my host

Q: How do I create a device on my host system (mainframe or AS/400) that prints to ExcelliPrint® using IPDS?

A: Each ExcelliPrint queue is a TCP/IP IPDS printer to the host. Point a PSF printer at the ExcelliPrint computer’s address and the queue’s port, and add the host’s address to the queue’s Accept jobs from list.

IBM i (AS/400): create a PSF configuration object and an IPDS printer device; see Setting up IBM i.

z/OS: define the printer to JES as an AFP printer driven by PSF, and add a PRINTDEV entry to the PSF startup procedure with the ExcelliPrint computer’s address and the queue’s port, for example:

//XCPPRT1  PRINTDEV ...,
//         MGMTMODE=OUTAVAIL,             /* CONNECT WHEN OUTPUT   */
//         DISCINTV=15,                   /* RELEASE AFTER 15 SEC  */
//         IPADDR='10.1.1.20',            /* EXCELLIPRINT COMPUTER */
//         PORTNO=5001                    /* THE QUEUE'S PORT      */

Chapter 9 of the ExcelliPrint manual has the full examples, and covers z/VSE and AIX too.
