RPMSrvc.exe - Ordinal Not Found

Problem:

I got the following error message installing RPM Remote Print Manager™ for Windows NT: RPMSrvc.exe - Ordinal Not Found The ordinal 6874 could not be located in the dynamic link library MFC42u.DLL.

Answer:

A reboot will resolve this. The reboot allows the MFC42u.dll to be activated. After rebooting, you may get the question, "Overwrite c:\winnt\system32\msvcrt.dll?". You can select yes because this is an updated version of this file. If you are uncomfortable in doing so, make a backup copy of the original msvcrt.dll file before doing so. Please review the Readme.txt file in the RPM NT program group. It contains this and other common errors associated with installing RPM NT.
